September 20 - November 2
Howl-O-Scream 2019 unearths long-buried icons of the past and new nightmares as Busch Gardens Tampa Bay celebrates “20 Years of Fear”. Brave souls can venture through horrifying houses, terrifying scare zones and thrilling rollercoaster rides in the dark for 22 select nights.
October 28 4-7 pm
After 4:00 PM, the Zoo transforms into an eerie and immersive Halloween adventure for the whole family. Creatures emerge at dusk with startling surprises around every corner. No horror, no gore, just fun frights for all.
October 26 & 27
It’s time to show off your most creative costume! Monster mash along the river and then bring your little ghouls and goblins to GCM to enjoy safe, indoor trick-or-treating, spooky experiments, creepy crafts, costume parades, and more!
October 26 from 4-7 pm
The 4th Annual Riverwalk Trick or Treat will take place on October 26, 2019 from 4-7pm on the Tampa Riverwalk. Kids in costume along with their families were invited to Trick or Treat along parts of the Riverwalk as part of this FREE community event.
Select Nights all October
Hop aboard the Pirate Water Taxi for a frighteningly good time on the water. Join us on select nights in October for an entertaining evening with tales of ghosts and haunted facts along the Hillsborough River. Each tour will be led by a dead-lightful docent who will entertain you with spooky stories of Tampa’s past. NEW for 2019 a batty fiend will hop on the taxi for new thrills.
October 31 - November 3
This annual Comic-Con for horror fans has relocated to Tampa Bay from Orlando, bringing four days of ghoulish delights along with some major names in the scare trade. Schedule to appear: Mia Farrow, the star of 70's horror classic "Rosemary's Baby," rocker Alice Cooper, and "Hellraiser" director Clive Barker. "Evil Dead" director Sam Raimi and Ash himself, star Bruce Campbell, will also join the fright fest.

Guppyween is the one time of year we let wild animals, ghosts and princesses roam The Florida Aquarium! Our guests get to trick-or-treat among 14,000+ animals and plants native to Florida and around the world, making for the perfect family-friendly and safe Halloween event.

Tampa’s most historic – and most haunted – movie palace presents 14 nights of petrifying programming on Oct. 18-31 for everyone from hard-core horror fans to the gentlest ghosts & goblins, including classic horror movies, family-friendly films, ghost tours, eerie live events and some spooky special guests!

The landscape is littered with walking corpses -- the zombie apocalypse has come to Tampa Bay.
