The Native American Village

Just outside of Orlando, on Lake Tohopekaliga, lies a Native American Village experience; which is exclusive to Boggy Creek. The village consists of Chickee Huts that cover genuine artifacts, hand-made creations from the Native American culture, and history on how they survived on the swamps. Our Family was given the opportunity to take a VIP tour inside the history and deeply rooted techniques of the forgotten Jororo Tribe that once thrived in Central Florida. The tribe first appeared in Spanish records in the 1680’s and lived exclusively by lakes and rivers. The kids absolutely loved every minute of it and were intrigued on the history and tools made and used by the tribes.

To learn more about the tribes and village one can book an interactive lesson, and learn a primitive way of learning, with Little Big Mountain, by going to their website at https://bcairboats.com/native-americans-florida/

The village is a living history museum that is perfect for all ages to enjoy.
